A beautiful tribute to Patrick. It is just so sad that children have to be remembered by there parents. To walk this road of pain is the hardest thing any parent ever has to face, yet the days blend into each other and love and time lessen the heartache and pain that always lies just below the surface.

Just the other day while looking through a box of old pictures I found a few of Patrick when he was young. A big smile covered my heart remembering the joy he gave all of us. I'm proud to say I knew him and even more proud to say he was my friend Close

Although I rarely saw Patrick, the few times I was with him made me miss him so much when I heard of the crash. He was such a funny and kind-hearted person. the last time I saw him was when he came to my ice hockey game in roseville. I still remember lookn up at the stands and seeing him watching me play. Its hard to loose loved ones but they will always be with us no matter where we are in the world. Rest in Peace cousin I love you Close

i was only six. i remember the day as if it was yesterday. when i first heard i was on my downstairs phone, and my sister bre was on the other phone upstairs. and my dad said the words- patrick was in a car accident... and he didn't make it.
that little sentence gave me chills. so why wasn't i crying? i felt bad for years about that. i couldn't cry until i heard the song, "Hero". every time i heard that song i'd ball.
we lose our loved ones. and life goes on. but something's missing...part of our heart.

I didn't get to meet Patrick, but feel like I know him through you, Nancy.  What a marvelous young man he was.  As that awesome young man, he influenced many and brought much joy, I'm sure. His memory will live forever.
